plants for flooding

Hi. Does anyone have a suggestion for a plant (shrub or perennial) that will
withstand occasional flooding from a neighbor's run-off(long story)? The
area is quite shady. Aronia? Clethra? Stylophorum diphyllum? Tiarella? I was
thinking of Joe-Pye weed but I probably don't have enough light.
