This may very well be true but cats take a terrible toll on ground
dwelling wildlife, rabbits, chipmunks, etc. Also we have read that they
can impact ground nesting birds such as, grouse, medowlarks, etc. >>
I'm sorry but I just have to say that "we" have taken a terrible toll
on ALL wildlife. Cats have done nothing compared to the devastation
we have inflicted on this planet. So, if bird and other wildlife populations
are going down we can only blame ourselves. Think about it, how many
have cleared land or filled in swamp areas to make gardens or malls?
How many have run over animals with cars? I'd like to see the stats on that!
How many go fishing and hunting? for what? Fun?
I'll get off my soap-box now.Sorry but really, think about what OUR impact
has been, before condemning a cat.
O.k. I'm done
