Re: [SG] Buried Soaker Hose

Christine,
I like using buried soaker hoses for certain areas: hard to reach with
sprinkler, frequent watering needed areas, when I want to get water to the
roots fast. The problems with buried soakers are: you WILL hit them with the
spade and have to repair them, if they are on any kind of incline the water
will pool and one area will get a lot of water, while another gets none, and
you must bury them right next to the plants to be watered, or they won't get
the moisture.
I like them, and use them more each year to conserve water, in the areas where
I know they will work.
