/ The one problem I had with their products was some paperwhites which were
a total disaster. When I called and explained how badly they turned out
they refunded my money with no questions asked. I would pursue the matter
with them. This is slightly off the subject but I had a situation similar
to yours one time with Burpee's; they sent two sets of bulbs which were
nothing like I ordered. They too refunded my money. Good luck.

Has anyone else had a problem with McClure & Zimmerman? I discovered, much
to my surprise, that two kinds of tulips from them I planted last fall were
not at all what I had ordered. Well, it's not a disaster but bright red
species tulips in the midst of burnt orange ones are not all that lovely.
I'm assuming that I'll get reimbursed for the cost of the plants--even
though I never got a response to an e-mail, and their phone line has been
busy all morning--but that doesn't really make up for the disappointment.
I am particularly perplexed because I always had a high opinion of this
company. You expect to walk out with the wrong bulbs at a place like
Frank's, which puts them in bins, but not from a mail-order house.
