returning person with an old question

Hi, folks:

I was on this list back in 1998 for a while and enjoyed it very much,
but had to unsub when the weeds started getting the best of me.  I
dunno if Sherryl still asks people to introduce themselves, but my
bio is largely unchanged from what it was then.  My address then was
at umn.edu; I'm in the archives.

And I checked the archives before sending this message.  Is Gene Bush
still around?  Or does anybody know about rust on
jack-in-the-pulpits?  I've got a horrible orange-y powder on my
jacks, and want to cure them.  Does spraying them down with hydrogen
peroxide work?  (I saw that advice on an organic gardening web site.)
There's 100's of jacks in my yard... I do not want to lose them all.
