I planted three Heuchera 'Amber Waves', which are sort of the same idea, a
few weeks ago. The nursery man told me they'd turn more yellow in more
shade, and that has happened as the tree canopy has leafed out. So far,
they are healthy and happy. I'll report back at the end of the summer.
