The Missouri primrose is pretty darn hardy--- I don't do much to it except mulch aroung it for the winter.. It seems to have a spread of about 8"to 10" and its height rarely gets past 24". Plants are fairly easy to obtain-- I live in Zone 5 in INdiana so it can take all kinds of extremes. Good Luck!
