I also do not use insectides very often, I never use herbicides or pre-
emergengents such as Preen. I like having things seed and then I weed out
those that I do not want.
My garden is very full so the growing leaves touching one another block out
the light and I do not get a lot of unwanted weeds . True the lack of light
also prohibits some of the better plants from seeding naturaly but I purposely
drop seed heads in areas I may want something to grow.
