Hi Gene,
Thanks for your advice. I will have to get a book on ferns and read up
about their history.
I have a neutral soil, but you're right - our climate is perfect for
ferns.
I will let you know my final list of ferns for my shady corner when I
have done more research. 'Til then thanks again.
Oh, by the way, you and several others on the list refer to zones and
conditions. Can you explain what these zones, etc mean. We don't seem to
refer to them in England.
