I am looking to find out the name of a shade plant found in Ken
Druse's The Natural Shade Garden (a wounderful reference book if you
have not seen it). On page 233 is a large yellow flowering plant that I
cannot identify. It seems to have dark green leaves with a ruby red
stalk (similar to a black eyed susan flower). Appears to be tall as
well. Any guesses? It may fill the bill for a tall yellow flowering
plant I am looking to put into my garden design.
Could someone remind me of the low cost source for the much heralded
A-Z Horticulteral Digest I saw posted several weeks ago? Sorry for the
repetition but the delete button got away from me before I realized I
wanted to save the message.
Thanks,
Tim Wilson
