Yes it is also known as Wishbone Flower I have some planted in my shade bed,
which consist of clay and stays moist. I have been surprised with these
this year -- last year I bought a pot of them, they were all purple and I kept
them in the pot and they didn't seem to do well. These seem happy where they
are at and much to my surprise -- I thought I was buying a mix -- meaning each
plant different color -- boy I was wrong I have one in bloom now with 4
different colored flowers!!!! I love it!!
Also, on the Epcot flower show they mentioned if you look in the blossom you
will see a wishbone and you get to make a wish!! How cute!!! Ok, now for
specifics--there name is Torenia, they like part to full shade, moist but well
drained soil and depending on which one you have they can get about 8 - 14in.
Pinch out stem tips to help promote bushiness. Hope this helps.
