Hello everyone
It is very hard on peonies to move them any time of the year. The best
time is in the fall after they are winding down for the year. Next best
is early, early spring. They mostly just wither and die if you try it in
the middle of the summer. If not this it stunts them for years. My own
personal experience and also all the peony books I have by Klehm and
others will say this.
