Hi Sheila,

At what rate do you apply it?  and doesn't this increase the acidity? and
therefore would regular application of Miracid also work?  Or is there some
other property about it that keeps the slugs away?  Also, I think I have a
bag of Iron sulfate around here because I'd heard that hte aluminum could be
toxic...so would the Iron sulfate also work??  Our soil around the Mpls/St.
Paul area here is around pH 7.5,  what is yours??
