Hi Pottsey. I grew 7 'Nikko Blue' and had them in almost full shade with
very moist soil. They did beautifully. Be careful about pruning. I know
the 'Nikko Blue' blooms on old wood. Also, I would advise spraying
Wilt-Pruf on in the fall when the temps are about a steady 45.
