Hello Dot,
I can not find my wildflower guide until they come and get the library
shelves back up. I do have Hardy Herbaceous Perennials here and it says you
are right. S. Europe is home of O. verna. I had it in my mind that it was a
native of the east coast here in the good old US of A. Thanks for the
correction.
