Hi Sherryl,
Thank you for the welcome. This is my first attempt at using the
Internet for information, so I hope I don't screw things up too badly.
My need for information about shade plants comes from a project by our
front door. It is on the north side of the house and gets absolutely no
sun in the winter and only midday sun in the summer months.
We live in the Pacific Northwest just east of Seattle and I think our
USDA Zone is 4 but I could be wrong. Our house is on a hillside in the
middle of 5 acres of forest. I am an avid vegetable, fruit, grape and
berry gardener but I don't know much about flowers and landscaping. Any
help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
