John and Kemberley,
Now calm down, both of you! First of all, John, have you gotten over your
aversion to ordering from Plant Delights? I am not going to look through all
my catalogues to see if there is another source (HA). Kemberly, the salvia
that was mentioned was Salvia koyamae. Its common name is Japanese Yellow
Sage, and it is rated zone 4b-10. It has large hairy green leaves. I have
mine growing in about 3 hours of sun and they both (think I ordered two on
two separate occasions) bloomed last year. It makes a nice spreading plant
and is about 18" high. Plant Delights has it for $7.00. If you don't have
their number it is: 919-772-4794.
