Thanks Gene.  From your description I do indeed have Trillium stamenium and
it is 'interesting'.  And, I too am hooked on Anemone Nemerosa and buy
anything that sounds different.  I bought some from Janis Ruksan this year
that sound and look great in the picture.  Next spring I'll let you know if
they really are as different as advertised.
