I guess that is what happened to mine. I know the lady across the street
has a 'Blue Prince' or something of that sort that may bloom at the same
time as my Winterberry. I'm told that ANY male holly blooming at the same
time as the female is sufficient, up to 2 miles away. I did it as a matter
of necessity; the nursery was out of suitable male winterberries so I just
took a chance and by gum, it worked!
