Re: [PRIMROSES] Auriculas

I am having some problems with my auriculas.
The blooms are very short lived, succumbing to gray mold on the petals
after any two days or so. I have them in an unheated greenhouse with
very good ventilation (actually, a good breeze blows across them).
Also, the lower leaves are turning yellow, which could be nitrogen
deficiency as I haven't fertilized in a month or so. Are they really
that big a feeder?
And lastly, when can I divide them? And is it done by simply splitting
thru the clump, keeping a basal rosette in each division?
Thank you for your advice.
