about giving us more information to build interest?{ We want to provide info
on all aspects of shade gardening---not just hostas, but such would be an
appropriate topic. Our purpose is to fill what we fill is a void in the
popular literature. There is no organization, as far as we can discern that is
devoted to the general topic of shade plants.} I think there are
enough out there that would be interested to have you project become a

As I mentioned, there are many who have mailed me indicating an interest in
such a society. I have been a long-time member of the American Hosta Society.
I must say that I am now finding the attention spent on that genus as the BEST
shade tolerant plant is becoming somewhat overdone and that there are many
equally lovely genera
that are overlooked. Our purpose is to inform the public about OTHER genera.

Look forward to your comments and suggestions.
