I think wolverines  stick to wilderness areas, and they're not numerous in
the first place, Bobbi.  There are badgers in my area (southwestern Idaho),
but they usually roam around thinly populated areas  out on the Owyhee
desert.  Years ago we had a tough drought, and several wandered into town.
Many were killed on the interstate. Police reported a woman discovered one
under her car, and sent her two children under the car to "shoo" it out.
Stupidity comes in all sizes.  Badgers are some of the most vicious animals
on earth, ounce for ounce.  She was darned lucky that her kids were not
hurt in that exercise.  Margaret L
