But don't do what I did and spray your roses when rain is seriously in the
forecast! I sprayed (w/milk diluted in water) yesterday a.m., and half an
hour later it was pouring. First rain we'd had in over a week. I doubt if
half an hour is enough to kill the mildew. Next time I'll plan to spray
when a dry spell is forecast. It's not that much work, takes only a few
minutes, but you'd like it to do some good.
