Re: next year's plants?

Oh Goodness, Susan
I just started picking up the leaves from the lawn to use as mulch in the
garden. Too wet now to dig in the garden for the new beds to be planted this fall.
Having said that, however....
Have my eyes on a new strain of helleborus. Series with the name"Lady" Pink
Lady, Blue Lady, White Lady, White Lady Spotted.... say the photos and ordered
both seeds and plants of some. Also one called "Sparkling Red Eyes" Can never get
enough hellebores. I also have a row of seeds in trays that covers 4 feet wide by
50 feet long that is nothing but baby hellebores from a breeder in Australia...
some lovely foliage out there in silver with burgundy stems, heavily toothed and
veined... hard to wait.
Got to have more fall blooming anemone and Aconitum. Every time I see them in
bloom in the garden, I set about wanting to make more room, get rid of something
that is not performing up to standard. Have 3 new anemone lined up. More new
cultivars of Dicentra exima.. the ever bloomers. Another white called "Aurora"
More of Aquilegia, astilbe, carex, clematis, Dodecatheon, ferns, Gentiana..
more, more, more......
