I like the idea of the motion activated squirter.  You hook a hose to it,
stick it in the ground, and if anything walks within XX number of feet of it
it will hit the animal with a good, hearty blast of water.  :)  It certainly
doesn't injure the animal, there are no toxins or anything like that either.
If memory serves, they run about $75.  Amazon has one called the Scarecrow
for $67.50

The maker of this is the same one that makes the Scatmat and similar devices

you have a lot of space to cover, you might need more than one or you might
have to use some creative positioning but everything I've heard about this
