I agree Marge & John.....the hydrangea quercifolia is especially nice
in my zone 6 garden, no matter the season. And due to all the
pruning questions I receive thru my site, I've written a page about
how to handle the macrophyllas as well as the others. It's in the
Flower Garden. Macrophyllas are gorgeous at the seashore and last
for months.....guess they know where to live!
