I have been intending to purchase a hydrangea for my woodland garden for
some years now. Finally got around to it and it is now in the garden.
Finally found the exact spot for it. Just as you get about half way up the
side of the hill on the path in the garden there is a bit of a place to
pause before going on up and around. The new home!
I was giving a slide presentation and lecture for an old established
nursery a few weeks ago and after the lecture I went through the nursery.
There they were... rows and rows of 5 gallon sizes. Had to have one as they
all looked so great. That and a couple of more perennials cost me about 20
percent of my speaking fee before I got out of there. Need to let my
partner keep the check on the way out of these nurseries ;-))
