Re: [SG] Hydrangeas "Nikko Blue"

Hi Vicky,
I have Nikko Blue hydrangea. I live in Michigan, zone 5. Mine have
bloomed every year. It is very important not to prune these plants
because they bloom on last years growth. Also mine are in a very
protected area on the north side of the house getting mostly shade. They
are also in moist soil. These hydrangeas do not like dry conditions. In
late fall, I spray them with Wilt Pruf. Helps them from drying out
during the winter.
