The idea of starting a regional bulb group in the Great Lakes area is
making some progress. We have about 15 names on the e-mail list and one in
addition who does not have e-mail so far. We have a listserver set up on
Onelist, and we are talking about a newsletter -- an e-mail version for
those who have that, and a paper version for others.
The idea of getting together for face to face bulb meetings once or twice a
year is still alive, but the region may be too large for everyone in the
mail group to participate regularly in meetings. We will try to make the
group as rewarding for our remote members as for our centrally located
members.
We are still looking for recruits with an interest in growing bulbs (in the
broadest sense) in the Great Lakes/Ohio Valley area. Contact me ( mailto:
