Kalmia

        I want to try a Kalmia Olympic Fire next spring.  Kalmias are not
easy to grow in Illinois where it can be hot and muggy in the summer, but
I'd like to try it because they are so beautiful.
        I've got a spot in a bed with good light but no direct sun in the
north yard with lots of well-drained leaf mold in the soil that is near a
bird bath so we can keep it moist.
         Does anyone know a good source for this plant?
