I was looking for this info a few weeks back without results. My wife
finally made me spend some time inside the house cleaning up some of my
papers/stuff/junk. ;-)
Here's the name and address of a company that makes round (14") and
hexagonal (16") stepping stones with concrete and stained glass. These are
expensive ($50-60) but look absolutely incredible! I saw them at the
Virginia Beach garden show this spring. They had quite a crowd around the
display.
She said they were fine to walk on, just a bit slippery when wet.
They have goldfish and landscape and butterfly designs, to name a few.
There are 18 designs in all, including a stone as a table top on a small
patio table, shown on their flier.
The flier really doesn't do the stones justice. They were that good.
At $50-60 apiece, these are hardly appropriate for a full path, but one as
a focal point somewhere along the path would be wonderful.
the address is
Highland Glastone, L.L.C.
P.O.Box 205,
205 Spruce Street
Monterey, Virginia 24465

Usual disclaimers, no connection to them, just thoroughly impressed with
their work.
