Thanks for so many replies to my questions! Chris, I printed out that
article you sent the link to and it sounds like he achieved positive results
with the copper. Since my husband went to the trouble of stopping by a
friend's machine shop and cutting all the strips for me, I think I will give
them a try!! Holly, thanks for the salvia info. I know one year I planted
salvia azura (I think) in the fall and it did not re-appear in the spring,
so I wanted to be careful.
Both my orders came today, so you know what I will be doing in the
morning. It is supposed to be in the '40's here tonight. I can hardly
believe it is getting that cold already. It seems like such a short time
ago it was still in the '90's...and it probably was, knowing the weather
here.
