just thought that this was a great illustration of the "blunt tool" nature of
the USDA zones - we are in zone 8 here, yet none of our siberians are more
than 4 or 5 inches high.
admittedly a late spring, with problems from flooding, but even so, I
wouldn't expect siberians to bloom here for another 6 weeks.
