Good Evening Everyone :Just joined the group this evening and decided to introduce myself . I`m a retired carpenter living 6 miles south west of Hay River NWT .Canada ; zone 1 maybe 1.5 . My name is Darm Crook . I`v grown and hybrid lilies , annuals and perennials for quite some time but have only grown a few Irises . Also grow a vegie garden about 40'X 50' with just about every vegie but corn and artichoke , they just don`t make it here . This winter I acquired some Iris seed for I . Siberica , I . Yellow Flag , I . Graminea and of course I don`t really know how to attempt germination .I have gleaned a little info on it from Iris talk but not enough to feel comfortable to try . So be prepared for some "THICK" questions when I`m getting ready to attempt germination of those seeds . I look forward to your groups discussions and wish to thank Ellen for this sites refferal and invitation to join this group . You will see my messages come from steve , that`s my middle name and I used it here just to establish a new yahoo mail box as they tend to fill up to quickly . Darm
