The Happy.99 attachment IS a virus package.
The really frightening thing about it is that the sender never knows it's duplicating itself and hitching along for the ride.
If you see it, tell the person who sent the email immediately so they can grab a free software package off the net to clean their pc.
Whatever you do, never, never, never open the thing! Delete immediately. That goes for anything marked "Don't tell anyone....".
