I do not see this as a problem. It does offer some opportunity to address the 
need of adopting some conventions relative to names on jpg files, 
identifacation of the person submitting them by name or number, seperate files for 
different type irises, etc.

Most, about 90%, of the iris photos that have been posted to the lists of 
which I am a member reside on my hard drive. If you find yourself in a quandry 
from having put all your eggs in one of those archive baskets I can copy to disc 
and send them too you.

At least until the whinin' starts. I do not always know who posted what photo 
but some are so designated.

A point in passing: I would love to see a yahoo list for iris photos in 
which, by becoming a member and posting photos, a member releases the photos into 
the public domain. The binifits to iris promotion, the efforts of serious 
hybridizers, iris collectors and growers, along with the recognition and 
appreciation opportunity afforded flower photographers by the many are obvious.
