There are other potential variables besides water. In this part of the country, spring water frequently has a high pH.

I'm curious how your spring water gains in pH level?

As a point in passin', I'm lookin' forward to what ever part of Charlie I get. It's so dry here even dogs raisin' there legs have become welcome. <laughin'>
