You make an excellent point and I appreciate the input. I have a well here from which the water has a high sulfur content. Sadly, like most things here the pump is broke so this past year there was a higher incidence of disease and vermin among the plants that were ordinarily watered with water from that well.
As a point in passin', that pump is scheduled for fixin' right after the water pump on the tractor, the intake valve on the tiller, the cold water tap on the kitchen faucet, the roof flashin' around the chimney and the door handle on my wife's car.
The world is normal here.
