RE: Merit and bees


Yes, there are reports that Merit is detrimental to bees.  There are also studies that show that they don't affect bees (one was sponsored by Bayer).  Admire (liquid) and Marathon (granular) are products using imidacloprid also.

There is one thing to be concerned about using the imidacloprid (sold also as Merit), or so I've read.  It can get into the nectar, or pollen, I don't remember which, and affect the bees so someone who's good at finding out about this please let the rest of us know?
