I will be posting a message soon concerning the NEW Yahoo! Groups which will
supersede our present eGroups mailing list. I am a member of the Merger
discussion group between Yahoo! and eGroups. There will be changes but I will
try to ensure that they will be painless for our Sibrob list....as it looks
now, there is a hot and furious discussion about members (and owners) being
able to access or indeed posting on what was our Sibrob files and eGroups page
on the Yahoo! Groups site. It is still on the drawing board and I am looking
seriously at other options for us.
Nothing will take effect until the first quarter of 2001 so we have some time.
Whatever happens, the SIBROB will stay intact and open to all and be an
unmoderated and free mailing list.
