Re: repeat bloom


Dear Marty,

There are very few Siberians that rebloom in my garden but I'll give 
you a report of those that do.

The best rebloomer is Harpswell Prelude.  It is the type that repeats 
bloom just after the first bloom is finishing.  It blooms and 
reblooms so heavily each year that you think there won't be anything 
left and then it repeats its performance again the next year.  It is 
not one of my favorites as far as form or color but definitely puts 
on a long period of bloom.

The only other that regularly reblooms is Purple Sand.  The clump 
will always send up another stalk or two about 3 weeks after the 
first flush of bloom.

We have just experienced the 2nd coldest December on record.  I'm 
already tired of winter and it has just started!!!!
