Re: Commercial success

Hello Judy,

Tissue culture: To reduce the time to introduce a new cultivar. Using John's
pricing: $650 for 100 plants. $6.50 a piece, add two years to grow on the
plants. New introduction of 100 plants at $36.50 or $46.50 in two years time
rather than say 5 - 7 years? I agree the cost for wholesale production is out of
whack, but in this case?

I would also suggest if some of our hybridizers are more than competent to
induce tetraploids (though many have Dr. in front of their names), the internet
based - home culture process (given the right medium formula) might be
approachable.

By the way, I am nowhere near setting up a mail-order, muchless wholesale
nursery. I am more a information anarchist and junkie.
