Arnie,
You certainly must be on the fast track for mail delivery somehow. I received my TSI just 2 days ago here in Lincoln, Nebraska. And, that's all the more interesting since we are both in the middle of the country, in the same AIS region. I did receive the AIS bulletin within just a few days of its mailing, however. Its also interesting that here in southeast Nebraska, I have found that people living outside of Lincoln, in the country, usually receive their mailings a couple days before those of us here inside the Lincoln city limits. Go figure.
So, Ellen, it seems that delivery of bulk mailings vary greatly even within the same general area of the country. I wonder why it is that northwest Iowa receives bulk mailings like these much faster than southwest Nebraska. Maybe you should just have all the central states mailings delivered to Arnold and Carol's home, and the rest of us can just drive up and pick them up. It would be faster! lol. Just kidding, Arnie.
Welcome to the first day of winter, Arnie. I, too, am ready for spring.
Gary White,
Lincoln, Nebraska, zone 4/5 where the high temperature today is expected to be in the mid 30's, before a precipitous drop into the single digits tomorrow night and below 0 temps before week's end.

My TSI came soon after your Sibrob e-mail told us that it was being mailed, and the AIS Bulletin came right on schedule, too. I don't belong to the Median Society, but our club does, and I brought home the new Medianite from our meeting of Dec. 11, so it had arrived before then. I haven't seen a new Roots for some time, but I don't try to keep track of when it should appear, just enjoy it when it comes. All these things make good winter reading, which means I will now enjoy them, for after a very mild autumn the bottom has dropped out of our thermometer and suddenly it is very wintry, at least as far as temperature and arctic winds are concerned. I'm ready for spring already!ArnoldArnold & Carol Koekkoek
