Thanks for the reply. I think you are probably right on the gas plant. I
just didn't think of it as I don't have it in my garden, but I do know
the plant. A neighbor of mine has it. Two years ago she was working
around it. I told her to be careful as she was wearing shorts. I had
heard of someone else who had some very nasty burn like blisters from
contact with the leaves. No, she assured me she had worked around it
before with no ill effects. I was very sorry for her the next day when
she showed me her arms and legs and even a small part of her face. It
took some time for these to heal. Although, still I have to say it is a
very attractive plant - just handle with care.
I do agree with you on those two siberians - very nice. I don't think I
will make it to the 2000 convention, but you be sure and go and take
lots of photos - some for the robin. Jim in Saskatoon, Sask. Canada
