When John first began experimenting with the doubles I was not enthralled.
But he does have some lovely ones. Symmetry may not be perfect but they are
nice. China Spring is a great improvement on I. typhifolia, however its not
a Springs Brook type. It falls are wide and more typical hanging falls type.
More a classical siberian. And it is early.
I like their catalog but miss especially the introductions the parentages.
Which I liked to study. Pictures are very lovely. I don't know if they are
putting out a standard catalog this year or not. Surely they must be as I
don't suppose a high percentage of their customers have computers.
How do you feel about adding a siberian hybridizer from Germany to our 4H
robin. I would like for the robin to fly faster and make a couple of
flights/year. Anna Mae
