When John first began experimenting with the doubles I was not enthralled.  
But he does have some lovely ones.  Symmetry may not be perfect but they are 
nice.  China Spring is a great improvement on I. typhifolia, however its not 
a Springs Brook type.  It falls are wide and more typical hanging falls type. 
 More a classical siberian.  And it is early.  
I like their catalog but miss especially the introductions the parentages. 
Which I liked to study. Pictures are very lovely.  I don't know if they are 
putting out a standard catalog this year or not.  Surely they must be as I 
don't suppose a high percentage of their customers have computers. 
How do you feel about adding a siberian hybridizer from Germany to our 4H 
robin. I would like for the robin to fly faster and make a couple of 
flights/year. Anna Mae
