For those of us also involved with the LA robin, we have learned that the
performance of the post office in delivering bulletins could best be
described as erratic and at worst, atrocious. There have been month long
delays even to people about 100 miles away from where it was mailed.
Currently I am waiting for the SLI newsletter that was mailed more than 2
weeks ago. I think the record delay so far is about 6 weeks. That's not
counting the ones that never arrive and there are some of those also.
Regarding the AIS Bulletin, I can assure you that it has been mailed. There
was a week to 10 days delay for me between the time I received the first
class mailing to me and the time I received my regular subscription issue.
(For those you might be wondering how I get a first class mailing, it is
because of my advertising editor position.)
