Hello,
ONElist has merged with eGroups, Inc. (as many of you know) and it will not
have any direct impact on our mailing list, SIBROB. Any changed will be
handled by the eGroups management and by me ,if need be, as your
representative. I have decided to have us ease into the new features one at
a time. They are all positive as far as I can see at this junction.
The one that leaped out at me was the one:
- CHAT
Another great way to communicate, chat lets you meet in real time
with members of your group. Every group now has a private chatroom.
- CUSTOMIZEABLE SETTINGS
Now you can customize all the features available to your group.
Every feature can be switched on and off. Want that new chat room?
Click it on!
SIBROB has its own or will shortly have its own, real time chat room.
I have not checked this out but it sounds like you just go to one list and
log on. I will tell you more when I know more....
