Historic Siberian designation

Hi Everyone-
I have a question. Last year when HIPS was discussing designations for historics, I brought up the fact that HIPS was supposed to be concerned with ALL iris, not just tall bearded and the designations being considered were applicable to bearded varieties. I was not at the meeting, but someone said:"Each special section has its own standards." Is this true? Does SSI have a standard for historical siberian iris or does the 30 yr. designation apply?
