There is/was a thread on the iris-talk list re any damage from
road-salt on plants (principally irises). By and large, those of
us who answered said we hadn't seen any damage to our gardens. I
have one large, one small and one medium-size garden directly in
the line of fire of the road plows and road-salt trucks at the
front of my property which abuts a state highway. Here are some
