What do you think about this? Perhaps the picture is to small.

Subject: [sibrob] Looking for photos
I am looking for pictures of one of the most commonly grown species, Iris
sanguinea, for the Iris encyclopedia. Sanguinea gets its name from the blood
red bracts below the flower. I have yet to see a picture that shows these.
In warm springs the red/purple coloring may not be very apparent and so it
turns out this is not a reliable trait to separate it from Iris sibirica.
But surprisingly I can find no pictures that show this staining. It can be
so dramatic in some forms under the right conditions that the whole plant
might appear red as in 'Hematophylla'. Does anyone have photos showing this
character?
